AI Career Checker ("the App") is developed and operated by Bamboo Digital ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how we handle it.
Data We Do Not Collect
The App is designed with privacy at its core:
- No personal information — We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any identifying information.
- No analytics or tracking — We do not use analytics services, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers.
- No usage data — We do not track which jobs you view, which prompts you use, or any in-app behavior.
- No location data — We do not access your GPS, IP-based location, or any location services.
- No third-party sharing — We share no data with third parties because we collect no data to share.
Data Stored on Your Device
All app data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (AsyncStorage). This includes:
- Jobs you've viewed or saved
- Personal notes you add to jobs
- Skills you've checked off
- Action plan progress and streaks
- Premium purchase status
- Your preferred theme (light/dark)
This data never leaves your device. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.
In-App Purchases
Premium features are available through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your payment information.
Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we collect no data from any user, this applies by default.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
